assets and plug-ins for doors and windows

I just realized how I'm losing so much time working on doors and windows all the time. Can anyone here recommend where I can find assets or plug-ins? I'd appreciate if you include why and give feedback from real work experience!

I totally get your concern!
For ready-made assets, check out BIMsmith Forge and BIMobject.
They offer extensive manufacturer libraries so that save you time from building from scratch!
But if you're looking to automate creation and placement, try Dynamo!
I used it before to quickly generate about 70 unique door types.
I would've gone insane if I was manually creating everything!
My biggest tip is to refine the details after creating the base designs.

I think yeah check out RevitWorks or AGACAD's Smart Doors and Windows. I use them on most residential projects now and honestly can't imagine going back to manual modeling hahaha.
