At my office in Austin, a few of us handle Architectural Visualization using different programs depending on the client and project. One of my co-workers works in Rhino with Enscape and it's impressive how quickly he can turn around polished visuals for presentations. I recently started learning 3ds Max because a lot of the studios I'm interested in seem to favor it for modeling and more detailed render setups.
When I went looking for Enscape support, I was surprised to find out it's not even an option for Max. From what I've read, VRAY is kind of the go-to for rendering in Max but I really like the faster real time style of Enscape and the way it helps you experiment with lighting and materials on the fly. Does anyone here know if there's a technical reason why Enscape hasn't made a Max plugin or is it more about market share and competition? And for those of you who use Max every day, what's your go-to for real time rendering?
