Did anyone else run into the issue of VrayEdgeTex appearing on internal edges when using it in the bump slot to round off corners? I only want that effect on the external corners.. Has anyone figured out a good workaround? I'd appreciate tips or even a link to a tutorial!

Yeah, that's a common problem. Give setting Corners to Convex Only in VRayEdgesTex a shot and connect it to a VRayBumpMtl for better control. Also, make sure your vertices are welded, loose ones can lead to those annoying extra edges. If that doesn't solve it, a quick chamfer on the geometry might work better. Honestly, it might be good to report this to Chaos as well, they should fix it

yep, Totally been there, it's a common struggle. I agree with @CtrlZArchitect, the workaround you're looking for usually involves using a VrayDirt map as a controller.
You essentially use the VrayDirt to create a mask that tells the VrayEdgeTex only to apply to the outward-facing, convex edges. It's a bit of a setup, but once you get it, it's super effective for clean edge rounding without messing with internal details. Definitely search for a VrayDirt masking tutorial

I would also check the geometry for any duplicates or overlapping elements. VRayEdgesTex can pick up geometry edges and if you clean up the mesh you might remove the unwanted lines.
